Vioron is a versatile trypan blue dye for staining the anterior segment of the eye.
Vioron was developed for ophthalmic surgical procedures in the anterior segment of the eye such as cataract operations or keratoplasties. Staining the anterior lens capsule makes it more visible, thus facilitating capsulorhexis and minimising the risk of tearing.
Furthermore, Vioron facilitates the preparation and transfer of the donor cornea in the case of lamellar corneal transplantations and the removal of the diseased Descemet‘s membrane in case of DMEK and DS(A)EK.
Phakos vitrectomy lenses are manufactured from single-use plastic that are so beautifully crafted they’re like looking through glass.
