A clinical study published in the September 2020 issue of the Journal of Glaucoma reported on the safety and efficacy at 2 years of the Aurolab Aqueous Drainage Implant (AADI).

The AADI is a non-valved glaucoma shunt indicated for glaucoma patients who are not responding to medical therapy, failed trabeculectomy, neo-vascular, congenital and uveitic glaucoma.

This low cost non-valved 350mm² glaucoma shunt is now available in New Zealand exclusively through Medix 21 for $250 (+ GST).
