Description

Partial ring of clear PMMA covering approximately one quadrant with a scleral fixation eyelet for temporary or permanent fixation.

Highly flexible clear PMMA segment of haptic thickness 0.20 mm.

It is used to stabilise and re-centre the capsular bag
Specially designed for scleral fixation with sutures through eyelets in a cataract surgery
The eyelet is projecting anteriorly which allows it to sit outside the capsular bag

Indications:

Cases with extreme zonular weakness
Cases with missing zonules larger than 4 clock hours
Lens Subluxation
